| Wednesday, April 13, 2005 Cookie Monster: Me eat vegetables!!! It looks like Cookie Monster is now going to focus on "eating healthy": "We are not putting him on a diet," said his spokesman, Truglio. "And we would never take the position of no sugar. We're teaching him moderation." The funniest thing about Cookie Monster though, is his lack of moderation! His crazed cookie binging is why he is Dario's favorite character on Sesame Street. Because he is eating, like, a dozen cookies at a time, cookie bits are flying all around him and he's growling and crazed.... well, ask any two-year-old-- it is hilarious. We'll have to see how this goes-- I can't imagine Cookie Monster nibbling on one little cookie with his pinky up. CNN.com: Has Cookie Monster given up sweets?

this is ridiculous. i understand the cause, but veggie monster isnt funny anymore
NO! NO! Please Don't Make the cookie Mon eat veggie's. Him Eating Veggie's is a crime against humor. Whoever thought this would help obese children should be fired & replaced. I mean seriously, What kid want's to see a Monster eat veggie's when he used to eat cookie's like a crazed maniac. Without his loonieness, he's just not cool anymore.
WTF Cookie Monster dont need to eat health food. Its not his fault that there are over weight kids its the parents fault and they have to blame someone else like television. Most parents are lazy and some are just bad parents.
